Craft Projects
Coco-Cola Star
This project was made in a day after my mother, who is a fan of Coca-Cola, found out that here white tree with Cola items on it, never had a tree topper for it, so I looked online for an idea or if anything was on sale, and seeing an glass made one for $500, I made a cut up of a star, along with adding a 3D impression on the back to give it a more pop out look.
"Fluffle Puff" plushie
So for the holidays of 2014, I was figuring out what i could do for my sister and other sister 1 year old who was going to be celebrating Christmas with us, and I figured, why not make them a fluffle puff, they liked the videos I showed both of them, so doing some rough cuts and one sowing machine later, I made 2 "Fluffle Puffs" for both of them to enjoy and do silly thing with as Fluffle Puff dose in her video.
Pop-tab Chainmail
This project was actually done for an art class where we had to make art with nontraditional ways, so using pop-tabs, I made an crafted a chain mail cover for my head. The goal was to also do the shirt too, but only got 1/4 of it done, one day i will try to finish the shirt, but the chain mail head set is good.
COSPLAY
Fun of Cosplay being able to dress up as someone or something from you like or even going out of you way to act like them in real life. For me is the joy of making it by hand, learning how to sew or paint in new ways, and learning new trick from pro in the field. If i could do a dress up for anything that was serious event, i take full advantage and dress up for it, from high school dress up day to college friend halloween parties, but i never gone to the place where you can get the real joy out of it, A Convention. After i finished school and was working, i was hoping to go out to a convention and enjoy doing the cosplay and see many outfits, and in 2015, i did just that at the yearly convention of Youmacon in Detroit. I been going out to this con for the last 5 years These outfits are the main cosplay that were made for each year up until 2020, which i made the effort and planning with friends to go out to other conventions.
Boba Fett Cosplay
For the 2016 year of Youmacon, I decide to make the best know bounty hunter in the galaxy, Boba Fett, took me about 150 hours to build him from days off to spear time i had at work to paint parts of him that i could. overall, it turn out great, had 2 issue with it that next time i'll address when i rebuild this, first being the jetpack attactment so i don't need somebody to help remove it and attach it.
Samurai Jack Season 5 Armor.
Youmacon 2017 build was a fun year, this cosplay build was different, and had a fair share of challenge with it, had to recut and build the helmet and suit armor about 3-4 times before it would fit evenly on my body, Even enter it for a contest, and while it didn't place, it was still an grand experience to learn and seeing the other great outfits.
Talion From "Shadow of War"
Youmacon 2018 build was made learning from last year armor building errors and improving a few things.Enter again for the Masquerade they did, didn't place, but got lots of praised for other fellow guys who went with Monster Hunter armor sets, so i'll take that as a win.
Broly from "Dragon Ball Super Broly"
Broly was a fun build and a good time to making armor from that anime, learned alot about making boots for it, too bad they didn't make it at the end of the convention they went too, overall the 2 big parts of the outfit was making the armor, and that crazy amount of hair.
